All My Firsts Are You (Completed Main Story) - Chapter 46
“If my guess is correct, you’ve once again broken our prior appointment for something extremely personal.”
Secretary Yoon spoke those words that forced me to lower my head, all while not even glancing in my direction, in an incredibly calm tone.
But she wasn’t wrong either. That’s how it ended up, after all. She’d probably already pieced together the situation from seeing me in the same clothes as yesterday. There didn’t seem to be any need to make excuses or explain further.
“I’m sorry. It was my mistake. I’ll make sure this never happens again. I’m really sorry.”
“There haven’t been any other schedules canceled besides mine yet, so let’s leave the apology at that.”
It was an ambiguous statement that made it impossible to tell whether the matter was resolved or not. For someone like me who believes words that confuse the listener actually grant them the freedom of interpretation, it was a rather welcome response.
“I’m grateful you’d put it that way.”
Only then did Secretary Yoon turn her head toward me and look at me. Her expression was one of utter disbelief, so I decided it’d be best not to say anything more and just head straight to the broadcasting station.
I just need to answer clearly whatever she throws at me. Whether Secretary Yoon will like those answers or not is another matter.
About ten minutes passed in that quiet tension with no conversation when a familiar ringtone rang out. I glanced at the screen—it was a name I love seeing. Ha Ru.
Since it was within arm’s reach of Secretary Yoon, I hesitated whether to pick up, but thinking Ha Ru might worry if I didn’t answer at all, I put in my earphones and took the call. Her clear voice, full of anticipation, landed in my excited ears.
[Huh? Jun Ah, you’re up?]
“Yeah.”
I was about to give a longer reply to her sweetly asked question but stopped. The person sitting beside me made it hard to feel at ease.
[By any chance, does that mean you’re on your way here right now?]

My Step-brother Is Obsessed With Me (Female-dominant)
A gentle female protagonist vs pitiful in the early stage, and a sick male protagonist in the later stage
Cheng Songer transmigrated into the body of a vicious cannon fodder female supporting character with the same name as her in a female-dominant novel.
In the original story, the cannon fodder female supporting character was inhumane, committing domestic violence, gambling excessively, being lustful, and even wanting to sell her stepbrother to a brothel for money.
As luck would have it, she just happened to transmigrate at this time.
Seeing Cheng Qingzhi biting his lip, enduring the tears in his eyes, looking pitiful, her heart softened.
She stuffed the money back into the Madam’s hand and reached out to him.
“Brother, come home with me.”
