Acts We Shouldn't Do (Completed Main Story) - Chapter 22
I couldn’t hold back any longer and had to make the first move myself. I’d laid out the stage clearly, practically inviting him into my line of sight.
In truth, it was a trap. The investigation revealed that Yoon Jae In had opened a yoga studio under her friend’s name and even rented an officetel apartment in her friend’s mother’s name.
The reason was obvious—she was trying to hide from Jo Dae Hoon the fact that she was in Korea.
Thus, Tae Seo’s invitation was something Yoon Jae In would normally dismiss without a second thought. But if Jae In had her eyes on Tae Seo, she’d surely agonize over whether to accept or not.
Tae Seo tapped the armrest of his chair with his long fingers. In his half-lidded eyes, Jae In’s flushed cheeks from a few days ago flickered faintly.
“Let’s see. What were you thinking when you approached me? And just how far will you dare to go?”
If Jae In showed courage, he intended to stand by her side, whatever her plan might be. That was why Tae Seo had invited her.
He wanted her to reveal herself before him, no matter the risk. He wanted her to desire him that much.
It didn’t matter to him what purpose lay behind that desire. Just knowing Yoon Jae In’s gaze was fixed on him was enough. If Jae In wished for it, he’d gladly become the means to her end.
“Don’t be afraid. Come to me.”
Tae Seo murmured like a whispered incantation, staring intently in the direction where Jae In would be.
Of course, he had no intention of remaining merely a tool for Yoon Jae In. After all, who was Kang Tae Seo?
All he needed was to captivate her. If Yoon Jae In herself stepped willingly into his domain, that would be all it took.
“Interesting.”
Tae Seo stood up, gazing at the dazzling night view. He slipped his hands into his slacks pockets, his broad back and shoulders pulling the fabric of his shirt taut.

After Being Cheated On, She Picked Up a Treasure (Female-dominant)
One-line summary: The husband I married on a whim had been secretly in love with me for a long time.
On the day when Jun Shao finally obtained the imperial decree for her marriage, Lan Qu, the person she had admired for six years, defied the decree and ran away.
Her gentleness and devotion, her promise of a lifetime together, were all disregarded by him. Instead, he dreamed of entering the palace to serve the Emperor’s sister as a sixth-rank attendant.
News of this incident spread throughout the capital, and the alleys in front of and behind the Lan mansion were crowded with people who came to watch the commotion.
Jun Shao should have been embarrassed and angry.
But someone stepped in to protect her dignity.
The figure was in a miserable state, yet still possessed an undeniable elegance and handsomeness.
The young lord struggled to climb the wall of the Lan mansion and shouted to her, “If he won’t marry you, I will!”
So, Jun Shao took advantage of the situation and married the person.
She thought the young lord did it to save the Lan family from the crime of defying the imperial decree, but never imagined that from beginning to end, what he coveted was her.
*
After the wedding, Jun Shao felt like she was living in a dream.
Her Wife-master was as beautiful as a fairy in a painting, skilled in the six arts, well-versed in poetry and literature, capable of being gentle and attentive, and also grand and dignified. Most importantly, she was the only one in his heart and eyes.
Jun Shao didn’t know how Lan Shiwu, as a illegitimate son without a father and blessed with beauty, had managed to preserve his purity, recklessly escape, and use his last ounce of strength to ruin his own reputation, all because of his love for her, just to stand before her.
She could only see him gazing at her with eyes full of love, and when she bestowed a name upon him, his eyes shone like stars.
“You have come to me like a weary bird perching on a branch. I shall call you A Qi.”
