Min Hyuk received a call from Si Hoon and immediately informed Da Hyun of Chang Jung’s passing. Da Hyun turned pale and quickly changed her clothes to prepare to leave.

Condolence wreaths densely lined the hallway of the funeral hall.

People in black suits came and went repeatedly, bowing respectfully. They each offered a few words of sympathy to Min Hyuk and Si Hoon.

Si Hoon bowed his head, thanking each mourner as he greeted them, while Min Hyuk stood beside him, gazing endlessly at Chang Jung’s portrait.

Su Cheol did not appear at Chang Jung’s funeral—or rather, it would be more accurate to say he couldn’t attend.

He had been taken into custody as the prime suspect. Su Cheol was the only living person who knew what conversation had taken place between him and Chang Jung.
