There were still matters left to resolve, but talking with Min Hyuk and Kim Yoon Hee came first.

Da Hyun trudged forward step by step. The fresh air outside made everything that had just happened feel like a dream.

Within mere minutes, she and Su Cheol had severed ties, and Min Hyuk had completely turned his back on Su Cheol.

She’d come to see Su Cheol intending to tell him not to use Yeon Sil to summon her anymore and to cut off their father-daughter relationship, but she never expected things to blow up like this.

It felt as though invisible chains that had been wrapped tightly around her body had snapped clean through.

Min Hyuk didn’t call out to Da Hyun as she walked aimlessly ahead; he simply followed silently behind.

Kim Yoon Hee likewise kept her eyes on Da Hyun, watching for the right moment to apologize.

Just then, Da Hyun, who’d been walking without a destination, suddenly stopped.

Seeing her halt, Kim Yoon Hee quickly scurried past Min Hyuk and blocked Da Hyun’s path.
