The housekeeper handed the car keys to Da Hyun and Yul, went downstairs to the first floor, and entered the kitchen.

Knowing there was no one on the first floor, she still didn’t let her guard down and glanced warily around.

After setting the tray down, she took out her phone from her apron and started typing quickly with her fingers.

The housekeeper pressed send, looked around once more, then swiftly slipped the phone back into her apron.

Then, as if she’d done nothing at all, she calmly placed the tray on the sink and picked up a sponge.

Yoon Hee had assumed that even if Da Hyun didn’t believe every word she said, she wouldn’t simply dismiss it outright.

Da Hyun’s pupils had visibly shaken upon hearing she was carrying his child—clearly, she’d been shocked.
