Four days had passed since then. Fortunately, Da Hyun hadn’t mentioned anything about the dream again.

That didn’t mean Min Hyuk’s anxiety had disappeared, though.

Each day felt like his blood was slowly drying up. He was constantly on edge, worried Da Hyun might regain her memories at any moment.

Even at work, Min Hyuk remained jittery, fearing she might suddenly remember everything. He could only feel slightly at ease after repeatedly calling her throughout the day to check in, his anxiety otherwise unbearable.

Summoned to the chairman’s office by Si Hoon, Min Hyuk exhaled sharply, pressing his fingers against his temples.

“Why does your face look like that? Are you okay?”

Si Hoon asked seriously, eyeing Min Hyuk’s appearance.

Judging by his expression, Min Hyuk looked no different from the grim reaper.

“Do I look okay?”

“No.”

Si Hoon bluntly answered that he absolutely did not look okay.

“I haven’t been sleeping properly lately.”

Si Hoon stared intently at Min Hyuk, whose complexion had noticeably worsened compared to a week ago.

He’d called Min Hyuk to the chairman’s office just to catch up and check in after a long time—never expecting to see such a dark, gloomy face. Had he known, he wouldn’t have summoned him at all.

He’d even invited him for lunch, but clearly picked the worst possible timing.
