Ra Hee Chae repeatedly opened and closed her eyes as she stared at the hospital sign. Cold sweat automatically gathered in her palms. Her tension was clearly written all over her face.

She had actually come all the way here, yet felt her pride wounded simply by standing before a psychiatric hospital.

Taking a deep breath, Ra Hee Chae steeled herself and barely managed to walk up to the hospital entrance.

But her feet simply wouldn’t move forward, so she stood there at the entrance for a long while.

She remembered what Jae Yoon had once done for her. That day, Jae Yoon had hesitated, then seemed to make up his mind and looked at her, painfully opening his mouth to speak.

Jae Yoon tightly held both of Ra Hee Chae’s hands and gave her a look that said he understood everything. Startled by his sudden action, Ra Hee Chae looked up at him in surprise.

“Ra Hee, I checked online and read a lot of reviews—it really seems like a good hospital. Let’s go together.”

Jae Yoon spoke to her in a sincere voice.

Hearing his words, Ra Hee Chae’s face instantly flushed red.

Soon after, her breathing grew extremely rapid. She had always been someone who lived confidently on her own terms.

Because of that, Jae Yoon suggesting she go to the hospital made her furious.

Ra Hee Chae glared fiercely at Jae Yoon. Sensing her mood, Jae Yoon cautiously said,

“No, I really just heard it was good.”

“Then why are you even meeting me?”

Ra Hee Chae asked him in a low, steady voice.
