“Of course, I doubt Oppa would ever do something like that, but he might just surrender to Dad. So if he really goes ahead and gets married after just a blind date—ugh, that’d be awful! I can’t possibly let that happen. No way.”

Ji Woo, seeming genuinely flustered just at the thought, suddenly gulped down cold water in big swallows.

“Some strange woman could come in and completely turn our household upside down. It’s not like these things only happen in dramas and movies. That’s why whoever becomes my brother’s wife has to be someone I already know well.”

“Yeah, you’re right. Reality is often more dramatic than fiction.”

So Ri felt strangely impatient.

Along with a belated regret that she should’ve given an immediate answer instead of telling him she’d think about it.

“At least you’re the person who’s spent the most time close to my brother and knows him best. Plus, since you’ll become my new sister-in-law, I naturally thought we should look at candidates together.”
