Yura, having already secured Lee Hyun’s permission, went to see Baek Jin Ho the next day.

She’d been anxious the whole time, but now that things were falling into place one after another, she couldn’t stop grinning. Wondering what had gotten into him to praise her so openly, she shot Jin Ho a fondly disapproving glance and added,

“He must really think highly of you, then.”

Watching Jin Ho nod slowly, Yura thought of Lee Hyun. Remembering how overly sensitive he’d been, she shook her head firmly and warned,

“Don’t you dare say anything like that in front of Hyun Oppa.”

“Tch, so his jealousy really does pierce the heavens, huh?”

Yura clicked her tongue at Jin Ho’s sly expression.

Baek Jin Ho always wore that clueless look, but in truth, there was nothing he didn’t know.

Yet he rarely took initiative or showed his hand. That gap had always stirred Yura’s curiosity, but since he wasn’t someone who’d answer if asked, she simply pretended not to notice.
