A Gentle Intruder (Completed Main Story) - Chapter 96
It was the day to present the results of the two-week trial operation of the in-house clinic. Da Jung attended the executive meeting as the representative of the in-house clinic.
Though slightly nervous in the solemn atmosphere, she drew strength from Lee Heon Tae’s warm smile and encouragement.
As several agenda items were presented, Lee Heon Tae repeatedly glanced over at Da Jung, silently offering her courage until it was finally her turn. Da Jung responded with a gentle smile toward him.
Jae Ho watched the two with evident displeasure, as if even that small gesture annoyed him. When Lee Heon Tae shot Jae Ho a pitying look, Jae Ho defiantly glared right back. A few executives exchanged curious glances, puzzled by the tense expressions of the chairman and the managing director. Only Lee Jin Myeong laughed heartily.
“Next, we’ll have a performance report from Manager Yoon Da Jung of the in-house clinic.”
Da Jung, visibly flustered, walked forward, Jae Ho’s gaze lingering on her the entire way. She bowed her head and greeted everyone politely.
“Hello. I’m Yoon Da Jung. Since this is my first time speaking in such a setting… I’m a bit nervous. I’ll do my best not to make any mistakes.”
Her eyes swept the room—past the serious faces of the managers and directors—landing briefly on Lee Heon Tae before finally settling on Jae Ho. Her gaze caught on the tiny heart shape he’d formed with his hand.
A heart? What on earth.
Making such a frivolous joke in a situation like this… What would people think if they saw it?
Flustered, Da Jung quickly averted her eyes—but warmth crept up her neck anyway. Seeing her reaction, Jae Ho smiled leisurely.
At just that smile, her heart fluttered traitorously. It felt as if the man had cast some strange spell on her. She had mountains of material to present, yet her mind was completely filled with the image of his hand heart and that smile.
‘Seriously… I hate you.’
Da Jung shook her head determinedly and focused back on her documents.
“Then, I’ll begin.”

My Step-brother Is Obsessed With Me (Female-dominant)
A gentle female protagonist vs pitiful in the early stage, and a sick male protagonist in the later stage
Cheng Songer transmigrated into the body of a vicious cannon fodder female supporting character with the same name as her in a female-dominant novel.
In the original story, the cannon fodder female supporting character was inhumane, committing domestic violence, gambling excessively, being lustful, and even wanting to sell her stepbrother to a brothel for money.
As luck would have it, she just happened to transmigrate at this time.
Seeing Cheng Qingzhi biting his lip, enduring the tears in his eyes, looking pitiful, her heart softened.
She stuffed the money back into the Madam’s hand and reached out to him.
“Brother, come home with me.”
