Several days passed.

In the meantime, Raven found out who the vassals were that had followed his father, Viscount Liranef’s will.

And to prevent them from doing anything else, he uncovered the crimes they had committed so far and imprisoned them.

Raven tried to pass the position of Viscount Liranef to one of the collateral blood relatives, but even that did not seem easy. It appeared difficult to find someone among his collateral relatives who would go against Viscount Liranef’s will.

And we went to visit the viscount who had been confined in the annex for several days.

“I had no idea there was a place like this in the imperial palace.”

As we entered the annex and headed to the bedroom where the viscount was imprisoned, Raven muttered as if in wonder the whole way.

“It’s only natural for those who are not royalty to be unaware. This is a place to confine royalty who have committed crimes.”

Levanfel replied lightly and unlocked the lock on the bedroom door where the viscount was held. Then Clint and Raven stepped forward and opened the thick door.

The grand door opened slowly with a heavy sound.

“Viscount.”

Levanfel, entering inside, called out to him. The considerably emaciated man raised his head following the voice calling him. Having been confined alone here for several days, he seemed not in his right mind.

Seeing his son, Raven, standing beside us, the viscount’s eyes widened.

When their eyes met, Raven smiled brightly like sunshine and waved his hand.

“Father, have you been well?”
