“Huhuhuhung! Damian, you’re really… huhuhung… such a fool!”

Days let pearly tears stream down her cheeks. Stupid Damian had actually run around the training ground until dinnertime after all.

It was far too harsh a punishment for the physically weak Damian. His calves had swollen badly, and utterly exhausted from sweating so much, he collapsed.

“Anyway—sniff—anyway, Clint didn’t even see you! You could’ve just faked it! Pretended to run!”

Days shouted furiously at Damian, sprawled lifelessly on the bed. Damian weakly smiled and closed his eyes.

Just a while ago, his back had seemed so huge when he stood up for her. Now it just looked small and frail.

‘I must’ve seen something wrong earlier.’

Days rubbed her tears away roughly with the back of her hand. But seeing Damian lying motionless on the bed, unable to lift even a finger, her tears burst out again.

“You can’t even fight, huhung, so why, why did you step in?!”

“Days… don’t press my calves… it hurts too much…”

“What gives you the right to step in?! Huhuhung!”

“Well… because you’re my little sister…”
