“Miss Seol Hee?”
Eun Woo looked at Seol Hee, who had abruptly halted in her tracks, and frowned. Startled by the sudden stirring within her, Seol Hee lowered her head.
“It’s nothing. I guess my mind wandered back to the escape room we did earlier. It was really fun.”
Maybe it was because she had been feeling lonely lately. She had broken up with Chan Jung, couldn’t meet friends because she was busy with hospital visits, and had spent all day with Eun Woo from morning till after work.
Just, so that’s why.
Eun Woo smirked.
“Really?”
“Yes.”
“I’m glad you had fun.”
“Yes, I had a blast.”
To hide her unfamiliar feelings, Seol Hee spoke in a brighter voice than usual.
“Thank you, Dr. Ok, for coming with me. I’ve always wanted to try this. It was more fun than I thought. You were great for your first time.”
“I had fun too. So, there’s no need to thank me. We still have some time left.”
Eun Woo glanced at his wristwatch.
“Is there anywhere you want to go?”
“Since I picked this place, let’s go wherever you like with the remaining time.”
“Anywhere is fine?”
“Yes. Whatever you want.”
With that, he bent his waist to get closer to Seol Hee.
“Really, anything?”
“Yes.”
“Are you sure anything is okay?”
He asked in a soft voice. There seemed to be a hidden meaning in his voice, but Seol Hee could only nod.
And so, the place Eun Woo took Seol Hee was far beyond her expectations.
Before they arrived, as they were strolling leisurely, he suddenly asked.

“How are your moving preparations coming along?”
“…Not yet.”
“Then, let’s take a look at my studio apartment.”
The way he suggested it was smooth and gentle. Not forceful at all.
“Isn’t it okay to take a look? I’m not saying you should move in right away.”
That’s true. It’s not like he’s asking her to move in. She might as well check out the market prices around this area, it wouldn’t hurt.
“So, is it okay if I just take a look?”
“Of course. It’s close from here. Let’s go.”
The road to his studio apartment. A gentle wind blew. Every time, Eun Woo’s bangs swayed. His long eyelashes, high nose, and red lips.
He was very handsome. Unknowingly, her gaze shifted towards him. Occasionally, the gaze of passersby lingered on his face for a while before scattering.
Maybe it was because she was staring too hard.
“Do you have something you want to say?”
Feeling her gaze, Eun Woo asked. Seol Hee quickly turned her gaze away.
“I was wondering how we should get there.”
“We can walk. It’s about a 5minute walk from here.”
“A 5minute walk?”
She was surprised and widened her eyes. They were quite near the hospital. She knew it was close but not this close.
“But what’s your budget?”
As expected, it might be expensive. The animal hospital “Dolmae” was located in the heart of Gangnam. The recent high rent prices made the house she liked out of her expected range.
“I think I can manage up to 700,000 won on a 2,000,000 won deposit.”
Eun Woo paused in his tracks and looked at Seol Hee.
“700? Are you really able to pay that?”
Seol Hee’s salary was tight. Dr. Ok knew about Seol Hee’s salary. Even after her probation period ended, it didn’t look like it would be sufficient.

“Well… somehow, once my probation ends.”
Eun Woo looked at her with cool eyes but said nothing and let it pass. They had barely spoken a few words, but they quickly arrived at the studio apartment. It was in a nice location with a park nearby.
Seol Hee looked up at the studio apartment building. It was even newly built.
“But… isn’t this place expensive?”
“I’m not asking you to move in now. Just take a look around.”
The entrance had a door lock, which looked secure, and there was a convenience store on the first floor. They took the elevator up and stood in front of the door marked 807. Eun Woo entered the passcode and opened the door.
“Wow, amazing.”
The room they entered was bigger than she thought. The refrigerator and washing machine were built into the kitchen, and the room was spacious and bright, perhaps because the previous tenant kept it very clean. It was the perfect environment for Seol Hee and Gomgom to live in.
“This is amazing. The house is really nice.”
As Seol Hee was looking around the room, she turned to look at Dr. Ok standing behind her. Dr. Ok was leaning against the wall and looking at her.
A man who just sat there smiling, without a word. His gaze was soft and warm.
Why… why is he smiling?
Eun Woo spoke.
“Just accept it, Ms. Seol Hee.”
“…..”
“I know it’s difficult. You might think of me as your boss.”
He continued, tapping the floor with his heels.
“I won’t interfere. You can mess up the house.”
“…..”
“Try to trust me. The me at the hospital and the me outside are different.”
Of course, it was. At the hospital, Dr. Eun Woo was very picky and scary, but outside, Eun Woo was kind and affectionate. Seeing Seol Hee still unable to respond, he raised an eyebrow.

“Because it’s me?”
“Pardon?”
“I mean, would you have come if it was Dr. Choi or someone else offering?”
Maybe.
It was possible. He was Dr. Eun Woo. He was scary, and more than anything…
My Arch-enemy Sealed My Memory and Said That He is My Husband
This is an incredibly captivating story that you absolutely shouldn’t miss! I’ll give a brief introduction here, and below you’ll find a detailed synopsis of the plot.
The female lead is a fierce and powerful demon king. The male lead is a once-in-a-millennium celestial lord, admired by the entire cultivation world.
They are equally matched, legendary rivals who have battled for centuries.
In the final duel, the female lead is gravely injured. The male lead saves her, seals her memories, and hides her true identity. He tells her that he is her fiancé. His entire life has been flawless—except for the one thing he never expected, never controlled, and never wanted to control: falling for his greatest enemy. She is his inner demon, his obsession.
When the female lead regains her memories, she is furious at his deception.
She makes his life a living hell.
And somehow, the male lead—possibly a total masochist—doesn’t mind at all. In fact, he’s happy she’s paying attention to him.
Yep, we’re back to my favorite trope: male lead suffering. If you love this kind of story, jump into the pit with me now!!!
Intro
Dong Xia lost her memory.
Her handsome and extremely powerful fiancé Li Qing comforted her: “It’s okay if you can’t remember. I’ll always be with you.”
Everyone thought Dong Xia’s ancestors must have burned incense to get such a perfect fiancé. He was the number one person in the immortal realm, yet he remained chaste and only loved her.
…
The day before marrying her fiancé, Dong Xia finally remembered everything.
She wasn’t suffering from memory loss at all.
Her arch-enemy had made her fake her death, destroyed her cultivation, replaced her memories, and pretended to be her deeply in love fiancé.
No wonder he said, “It’s okay if you can’t remember”!
Dong Xia laughed coldly as she pulled out her long knife: Li Qing, prepare to die 🙂
*
Li Qing, as the supreme being of the immortal realm, was the people’s shining beacon.
The only unknown stain in his life was his affection for Dong Xia, the ruler of the demon realm.
In the final battle of the war between immortals and demons, the sky collapsed and the earth shattered. The ruler of the demon realm was finally slain under the sword of the supreme being of the immortal realm, and everyone in the immortal realm applauded.
The cultivation world lost a ruler of the demon realm.
And in the back mountain of Li Qing’s cave dwelling, he secretly hid away a fiancée.
Notes:
1. The female lead is white on the outside, black on the inside, and the queen of flattery; the male lead repeatedly tests the edge of darkness, a VIP guest at the crematorium.
