It was just as we began talking about returning to the convalescent residence after spending a few days at Wolmugung.

We had intended to ask the Emperor for final permission, but he had been too busy to visit Wolmugung for three days straight. It seemed my disciple’s burn treatment was no longer urgent enough to keep us high on the priority list.

With no more complicated, troublesome, or busy matters to deal with, Wolseom tapped lightly on the packed luggage and grinned broadly.

I smiled back at Wolseom and then asked Yu Sanggung,

“Yu Sanggung, are you really sure you can come with me? It’s truly just a small house.”

“Of course. I am already Bi Jeonha’s person—it’s only natural I accompany you. Won’t Un Gwi come along as well?”

As soon as Yu Sanggung learned I was alive, she insisted on going with Wolseom to the convalescent residence. My disciple didn’t outright refuse, so she had already begun packing her things too.
