Ji Young looked bewildered for a moment, then covered her mouth with her hand.

“Because you tried to sell the blueprint for money and got yourself killed, and that blueprint ended up in the wrong hands, eventually becoming a crazy weapon in the era I live in.”

While explaining the situation to Ji Young, Hee Won finally understood how everything fit together.

Ji Young Kang had been murdered by Jae Kyung Han in this time period, and the blueprint along with the security bypass program had been stolen from her.

Jae Kyung Han’s organization had waited until the technology necessary to build the weapon from that blueprint finally matured—but unfortunately for them, their organization collapsed before that tech ever came to fruition.

The problem was, just because the organization disappeared didn’t mean the blueprint vanished with it.
